How to install Pi-hole on your Synology NAS?
Over the past few years, the Synology interface has changed frequently. Packages have been added and removed. Similarly, the setup of Docker, and therefore Pi-hole, has also changed repeatedly. In this video, I'll show you the easiest way to install Pi-hole on your Synology NAS using the Docker Container Manager.
Folder names:
docker
pihole
pihole-configs
dnsmasq.d-configs
mount points
/etc/pihole/
/etc/dnsmasq.d/
Environment variables
WEBPASSWORD - Enter a password for the admin login here.
WEB_PORT - Specify port 8080 here.
*WEB_PORT DNSMASQ_LISTENING - local
DNSMASQ_USER - root
FTLCONF_LOCAL_IPV4 - IP address (of your Synology)
