Megumi Fushiguro is almost certainly Jujutsu Kaisen’s most disappointing Sorcerer, there’s almost nothing strong about him whatsoever compared to the rest of the cast. Kinji Hakari has been strong from the start, even stronger than Yuta when his luck is running hot. Maki Zenin ascended, like literally. She can now observe the soul and jump off the air itself, becoming an equal to Megumi’s own father, Toji Zenin who went out against freshly Awakened Gojo after nearly sending him to King Kai. Yuta Okkotsu speaks for himself, undoubtedly he’s recognized as the next Satoru Gojo and has the arsenal to prove that to just about anyone. More Cursed Energy than Gojo, super refined barrier, multiple Special-Grade level Cursed Techniques and Rika. Then there’s Yuji Itadori, normally shonen spice up the rivalry between the protagonist and deuteragonist, constantly one uppering the other at every turn. But not Jujutsu Kaisen, while Megumi was choosing to give up on life and go back to the lobby. Yuji awakened, landed like 10 Black-Flashes, awakened Shrine and is now being named as one of the most extraordinary Sorcerers of all time decades after Jujutsu Kaisen right next to Gojo. You can argue between who’s actually the strongest down below, this video isn’t about one person being at the top. We’re just going to be focusing on somebody at the bottom, one person in particular who despite having more potential than anyone in history. Probably will never reach his true power, that’s obviously Megumi Fushigoro. Since the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen he’s been the destined successor of Satoru Gojo, being the chosen one to lead the next generation. This isn’t my personal head cannon, it’s actually stated right here in the volume 10 introduction. Gojo originally wanted Megumi to lead the modern era.
