EvtXHunt - F34R 0f FOR3N51CS (ICT2202)
This is a SIT Year 2 Trimester 1 ICT 2202 - Digital Forensic Project. This project's objective is to design and develop a technical solution for a problem in digital forensics.
The tool featured can be used as an Autopsy plugin or runned in the command line. This tool analyzes Evtx logs and check against a set of SIGMA rules. Any matching values will be flagged out as potential indicator of compromise (IOCs). The digital forensic specialist is able to include his/her own custom SIGMA detection rules for the tool to use during the analysis.
