2016.05.20: NAB 2016 - Photon Beard
A check in with Peter Daffarn reveals that Photon Beard has been working on remote phosphor LED fixtures for motion picture use. The fixtures have similar surface area to Photon Beard's fluorescent fixtures and are designed as direct replacement for fluorescent. Furthermore, as they are designed to have similar dimensions to fluorescent fixtures, if used unmodified, they should have softer light than Cineo's remote phosphor LED fixtures if used to directly light a subject.
