Having been defeated by Chambéry in the Coupe de la Ligue Final Four last season, Paris Saint-Germain knew they couldn't underestimate the Savoyard team. Leading by two goals at halftime (19-17) after a close first half, Paris continued to dominate after the break, even though Chambéry tried hard to stay close (25-24, 45th minute). But PSG managed to pull away at the end of the game and ultimately won by four goals, 36-32.
