In this beginner cybersecurity Python project, I built a *Failed Login Tracker* that counts how many times each user appears in a list of failed login attempts.
This project helped me practice important Python concepts like:
Lists
Dictionaries
`for` loops
`if/else` statements
`.items()`
Counting repeated usernames
Tracking suspicious login activity
The script goes through failed usernames such as `admin`, `guest`, and `root`, keeps track of how many times each user appears, and can flag users with multiple failed login attempts.
This is a simple project, but it connects Python scripting to real cybersecurity ideas like **login monitoring, suspicious activity detection, and security automation**.
I’m continuing to build hands-on projects in **Python, cybersecurity, cloud, and cloud security**, so subscribe if you want to follow the journey.
