Lion, Capitao & Friendly Fire Tested - Rainbow Six Siege
Rainbow Six is getting another balancing patch soon with update Y4S1.2 and we are finally getting the Lion rework we have all been waiting for! In addition to that, the Capitao rework has been tweaked and we will also be getting the reverse friendly fire update that was announced at the recent invitational. I tested all of these changes on the current test server build and the Lion rework looks good, he may well end up a bit underpowered after patch 4.2.1 but that's a good thing as long as his reign of terror finally comes to an end. Capitao's fire bolts have been tweaked, so that they now take 2 seconds to reach their maximum area of effect and this subtle change could make the rework which had been scrapped only a few weeks ago much more viable now. And finally, I also explored the damage reflection mechanic and my initial conclusion would be: This ain't it chief! There is a massive loophole in the system right now and in fact this new system would actually be a step backwards if implemented as is. Let's hope we see a few more tweaks before this system goes live!
