Cycling Australia's East Coast - 2000kms on rail trails and country roads - Gladstone to Sydney
Beginning in Gladstone Qld, we rode 1800km down Australia's East Coast, to Sydney. We took in as many off road routes as possible including all the rail trails we could find, as well as plenty of national park trails, and quiet country dirt roads. We camped for the majority of our time in Australia, finding some beautiful country and coastal campsites along the way. We encountered sunshine and rain, lots of Aussie wildlife, as well as a few Aussies with bad attitudes towards cyclists.
