There aren't really many viable alternatives to a SAK (Swiss Army Knife). If you do find something, it's hardly distinguishable from its predecessor. Fox decided to go in a completely different direction, and it was absolutely worth it to go against the grain and create a multi-layered slip-joint pocket knife with various tools and a very high recognition value.
