How to Make a Two-Sided Texture in Blender?

In this Blender tutorial, we will create a material with one texture on the front and a different texture on the back. The two-sided material will show one of the materials on the front of every face of an object it's applied to and a second material on the back side of each face.

We will create the double-sided material using two materials and mixing them together with a Mix Shader Node. Then we'll use the Geometry Node to tell the Mix Shader to put one shader on the front and one on the back.

At the end of the video we will discuss mixing the displacement maps so the material can have a different displacement on each side of an object's face. The concept of "backfacing" is what allows us to do this easily with the Geometry Node and a Mix Shader Node.
