Hi everyone!
As you all know, these are some strange times we're living in, and so I thought I'd make a video to hopefully lighten the mood and give a bit of relief from all of the overwhelming information we're being inundated with these days.
I took to Instagram a few weeks ago and asked you guys to ask me questions regarding photography, so thank you to everyone that submitted! If you are just starting out, and are feeling intimidated or confused, I hope this video breaks down some easy ways to approach photography!
Here are some links to different organizations that are assisting those that have been hit hardest during this COVID-19 pandemic:

Here are links to starter cameras I forgot to mention:
MY CAMERA:
https://www.amazon.com/Canon-QL17-G-I... - she is reliable, good quality, easy to use, compact! Definitely check her out!
FILM:
https://www.amazon.com/Canon-AE-1-35m... - all around great starter film camera, pretty popular amongst the film community but affordable, intuitive, reliable and sturdy!
https://www.ebay.com/b/Nikon-L35-AF-F... - really inexpensive point and shoot that is wonderful to start with! Lightweight, autofocus, compact body - really great for bringing along on your travels!
https://www.ebay.com/b/Yashica-T4-Fil... - well built point and shoot, even without all the hype on the internet, and really great lens!
DIGITAL:
https://www.amazon.com/Canon-CMOS-Dig... - my beloved starter camera, honestly saw me through so many ups and downs, so a lot of my attachment is nostalgic BUT all around a wonderful camera with a flip out screen that makes filming and tripod images much easier.
https://www.amazon.com/Canon-EOS-REBE... - classic starter camera, honestly any of the T series are wonderful to start out with.
LENSES:
https://www.sigmaphoto.com/30mm-f1-4-... - this is the lens I've used for 5 straight years. It's been super easy to work with, sharp, and clear! The only note I will give is that if you're shooting on full frame, it does vignette a bit in the corners (hence why there's vignetting in my video) but that can be fixed in Lightroom easily!
https://www.amazon.com/Canon-Standard... - great starter lens and something I think everyone should have in their kit if you're shooting digital (whether thats Canon, Fuji, Nikon, whateva), really great standard lens that is *chefs kiss for beginning portraiture.
