Elasticated tulle skirt with brocade ribbon – MK
A MASTER CLASS on how to sew a skirt with an elastic band. The skirt is made from regular medium-stiff tulle with a brocade ribbon along the edge. The lining is made of regular satin. The elastic waistband is lurex and matches the brocade ribbon.
In this video, I show in detail how to sew an elastic waistband to a skirt. This is another method—a "patch" method, so to speak. As a reminder, I've already shown two other methods for attaching elastic to a skirt on my channel. Links to these tutorials are below.
The skirt turned out beautiful and festive! This skirt is perfect for a photo shoot or as a costume for a performance, a matinee, or any other event or celebration for your Princess!
In white with a silver ribbon and elastic, the skirt turned out very delicate and light! Now I'm interested to see it in other color combinations!
