Bug-A-Salt Functionality Modifications (under a minute)
We love Bug-A-Salt! We noticed one small flaw in the design of the end of the barrel. Cosmetically what they did makes a lot of sense, but as it comes stock you may experience the occasional misfire.
Simply use a knife and carefully carve out the front of the orange barrel to open up the ending and your problem is solved.
For our personal enjoyment we also added a short screw (1/4 - 1/2 inch) to the safety mechanism so you no longer have to push it forward. If you decide to do this modification keep in mind who has access to your Bug-A-Salt. (Be sure to push the safety forwards before adding the screw - shouldn’t have to tell you)
