There are many ways and opinions on smoking trout. Some prefer one method, others their own. I always enjoy smoking my trout as shown in this video and am very happy with the flavor. ♨️Smoker:♨️ They come in all different sizes and types. Gas and electric, fuel paste or wood—everyone has to decide for themselves. I opted for the simplest method if you want to quickly and easily smoke two or three trout at home. Perfect for beginners!

The simplest and best brine for me!
1L of water per fish
60g/70g salt per liter of water (just salt, no spices in a classic brine!) I still like to do it though! 😊 You can also boil it for a nice effect!
12-14 hours brining time (ideally 18-20 hours) so the fish is saturated with salt all the way to the spine and perfectly preserved!
