[Bitwig Studio 3] - Polygrid: Let's Breakdown a Modular Synth Patch
Here I give a very brief overview of Bitwig's surprisingly accessible modular synth environment. I thought I would hate it, but actually I think I love it!
It's very cool to find different ways for the computer to generate notes and rhythms with some random chaos in the process. It can create some unique musical situations for you to play with and build upon.
My favorite part of this process was that the sound I got out of this weird modular sound generator - it successfully invokes a vibe I'm trying to express, in a way that isn't likely to happen by playing on a keyboard or by manually sequencing.
