Imagine trying to rename 100 files individually...
When you have multiple files that have identifying text in common, the Replace Text option is a simple way to rename them all at once!
Selecting the files is the same as Windows. However, it doesn’t matter which file you start with:
Select the first file, then shift-click the last one (or vice versa) to select a group of files.
Then control-click the selected group to open a dropdown window full of options..
Choose Rename…
Chose to Replace Text, Add Text, or Format (completely change the name, regardless of the original name, and re-number the batch).
Nice that it shows an example of what your results will be, before you commit!
