MTS-ESP is a great technology for instantly retuning a set of instruments, also microtonally. There are already a great number of virtual instrument developers who have adopted this standard and incorporated this protocol, making them ”MTS-ESP client plugins”. This video is meant only as an introductory presentation of the standard itself, and with one possible use together with JamOrigins MIDI Guitar2 software on display. The actual setup is NOT discussed in the video, but you need to set it up in a DAW environment (for now), to be a blessing to use it with any set of plugin instruments.
I had been looking for this very solution for a while, so I was rather stumped to find out that it has existed for a few years already. But now I know, and so do you. Hopefully, you can make some interesting stuff with it. The comment section below is open for any and all questions as per usual.
