Home Assistant Tutorial Part 2 - UI Walkthrough, Integrations, addons, and cloud backups
In this video, we'll follow up our Home Assistant install video with the next steps. First we'll go over what an Integration, a Device, and Entity, and a State is, and then we'll follow that up with a walkthrough of the UI. Then we'll show some integrations and how to set up a basic one, followed by how to setup an Addon. Finally we'll talk about backups (called Snapshots) and then show the excelled addon to allow for cloud backup storage using Google Drive.
The idea is to get those that haven't used Home Assistant started, so we can go into more complex tutorials. This also is some updates of other videos I've done, which are starting to get stale due to the quick pace of development on home assistant.
