Blanc Canvas, 2018. (First render, Short version.) Silent stop animation film.

A film composed of around 4500 photographs. Documenting the process of my attempt to grasp photography; it was only with the unending support from my partner, friends and close relatives that this short film could have been realised. I had originally set out in hopes of capturing a physical impression, a cast of some kind encompassing mental illness and maneuvering the life around me, such as a sculpture. Yet what initially began as a research process, became something within its own right. Over a period of four months I took around 6000 images, which went through further refinement, dissected and rewritten to form some kind of narrative.
Yet here, the images put together as one motion picture don't work entirely, they still seem too complex, non-coherent to anyone but myself; and so alongside the images, I wrote a narrative, or story line. This story has been subdivided into 52 categories,this first render serves as a blank version of my film, one that is open to interpretation for the audience.
