Font Optimizations automatically strip unused text and icon symbols. This results in a greatly reduced font file. In this example, the “StyreneALC-Regular.woff2" file is optimized from 41,4kb to just 3,2kb!
This allows us to take one more step that’s great for performance - inline the optimized font! You will recognize the successfully inlined fonts by their name appearing in a Base 64 encoded string format.
