One of my students asked me for help to figure out why her code wasn't working properly. So, in this video, I'll show you how I go about troubleshooting and debugging the code with Jetbrains IntelliJ Idea IDE to determine what the issue is. Debugging and troubleshooting code are skills every developer will need to develop because this is where you'll spend a lot of time as a developer. We'll talk a little about debugging, conditional breakpoints, NullPointerExceptions and Java's equals() method.
