Nope Review: Must Watch!
A definite thumbs up for Jordan Peele's latest adventure, Nope! It is incredibly immersive (shot entirely on IMAX cameras), entertaining and relevant to today's society. As a disclaimer if you’re expecting an in your face horror movie, it’s not. I think Peele has created a lane for himself in creating movies that really pick apart some part of our society and highlight a much larger concept, while still throwing in moments of suspense and a few jumps here and there. It is almost as if the real horror is in our reality and not within the movie.
The best part about this film was not knowing what to expect, like a horror film when the monster is introduced at the very end, it leaves the viewer excited and guessing which way this movie will turn. Go check it out in theaters!
