Hailing from Guinea Conakry, Brima Dondon is one of the pioneers of reggae in his
homeland. He gained recognition as a reggae artist through impactful collaborations with
Sierra Leone's "Musical Flames" and his involvement in Guinea’s rasta movement,
"MOURAG." Since moving to Europe in 2003, he founded Brima Dondon & the Melting
Band, a multicultural group that embodies diversity.
"KOROKELOU" exposes the corrupt rule of African presidents and the influence of the
Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). It critiques the political
manipulation used by leaders to cling to power for as long as possible, revealing
democracy as little more than a façade. This track raises critical questions about
governance and ECOWAS's impact on national governments.
