A brief explanation of burst: this burst will deliver a hydro sword attack once every second with an alternating pattern of 2 and 3 swords and must be triggered by a normal ATK attack from your on-field character.
This skill has three main functions:
1. Generates 5 energy particles.
2. Inflicts damage and the hydro status on enemies.
3. Conjures three hydro swords that surround your active character for 15 seconds. They provide protection from enemy attacks and damage reduction based on Xingqiu's total hydro damage bonus x 20%, up to a maximum of 24% damage reduction.
CONSTELLATION
C1 increases the number of hydro swords surrounding your active character from Xingqiu's skills from 3 to 4.
C2 is a significant constellation because it extends the burst duration from 15 to 18 seconds and reduces enemy hydro resistance, increasing the hydro damage inflicted by Xingqiu or other hydro characters on his team.
C3 increases burst damage.
C4 increases skill damage by 50% when in burst mode. This can turn your combo into a burst, followed by a skill, or a burst skill if you use a sacrificial sword. Just be careful not to switch characters immediately before Xingqiu absorbs the hydro particles on the field.
C5 Increases Skill Damage
C6 is the most important constellation, significantly increasing Xingqiu's power. C6 will trigger Xingqiu's burst, alternating between 2 and 3 sword attacks, into a 2-3-5 sword pattern. Importantly, each time this water sword hits an enemy, it restores 3 energy for Xingqiu, even if Xingqiu is off-field.
ENERGY RECHARGE
The Energy Recharge you should aim for at C0-C5 is 240% if Xingqiu is the only hydro character on your team.
If Sacrificial Sword is R3, it only requires 175% Energy Recharge.
If Favonius Sword is 200%,
Amenoma Kageuchi R1-R5 is 205-220%.
When Xingqiu reaches C6, this energy recharge requirement drops drastically to 200% if Xingqiu is the only hydro character on your team.

ARTIFACT
4 emblems of severed fate.
Two sets will provide an additional 20% energy recharge, and four sets will increase your burst damage by a quarter of your total energy recharge. For example, a 150% Energy recharge will provide a 37.5% burst boost,
