Lyrics :
Pack the bags, leave the ghosts in the hallway
You were always meant for the lights across the bay
I'll stay here holding the keys to this old town
Watching the dust of your tires finally settle down
It's a heavy kind of quiet when the porch light stays on
But I'd rather be lonely than see your spirit gone
So don't you look back, don't you slow your pace
There's a whole wide world for you to embrace
I'm just the anchor, you're the sail in the wind
Go and find where the blue eyes, that's entirely brand new
If you forget the way back, well, that's just fine
I got your memories to keep me alive
Yeah, you're going to make it, you're going to fly high
Even if all in my October sky
It's okay to change, it's okay to outgrow
The seeds of the person that I used to know
Just promise me you won't ever feel small
Go far, don't look back
Go far
So don't you look back, don't you slow your pace
There's a whole world for you to embrace
I'm just the anchor, you're the sail in the wind
Over me some blue, brand new
If you forget the way back, well, that's just fine
I've got some memories to keep me in line
Yeah, you're going to make it, you're going to fly high
If you leave a hole in my October sky
