Understanding the Stereo Image!
A significant dimension when working with sound.
We have a centre or midline, where we experience mono sound, and then, depending on your reference monitors, a width to the soundstage the music exists within.
Sounds can be placed from left to right and given a width.

In this video, I explore these fundamental concepts and share some of the basic tools I use in Ableton to move sounds and give my mixes a more spacious, wide, and dynamic feel.

Moving sounds around this space will add realism, and I talk about this in more depth in the video.
