EP 01 - Natural Numbers (Basic Mathematics)

Finally, my very first lecture on Basic Mathematics Episode 1is here.
I have started this lecture from the absolute beginning, so that even someone who wants to start learning Mathematics from today can slowly begin to enjoy thinking, learning, and exploring the subject. At the same time, I believe that even students who already know Mathematics well will still find many new and interesting ideas in this lecture.
One special thing about this lecture is that, in such a long session, we have focused only on very basic concepts — Natural Numbers and Integers — and their important properties.
I have tried my best not just to explain the concepts, but also to help you visualize them, so that Mathematics feels alive and meaningful.
After that, I have also discussed several interesting and challenging problems based only on the concepts of Natural Numbers and Integers. I am quite sure that many of these problems will feel completely new, and you will truly enjoy solving them.
Some of the questions are so surprising that it is hard to believe they can be solved using such simple ideas.

आखिरकार, मेरा पहला लेक्चर 'बेसिक मैथमेटिक्स - एपिसोड 1' आ गया है।
मैंने इस लेक्चर की शुरुआत बिल्कुल बेसिक से की है, ताकि अगर कोई भी आज से ही गणित सीखना शुरू करना चाहता है तब भी वह धीरे-धीरे इस विषय के बारे में सोचने, सीखने और नई चीज़ें खोजने का मज़ा ले सके। साथ ही, मेरा मानना है कि जो छात्र पहले से ही गणित अच्छी तरह जानते हैं, उन्हें भी इस लेक्चर में कई नई और दिलचस्प जानकारियाँ मिलेगीं ।
इस लेक्चर की एक और खास बात यह है कि इतने लंबे सेशन में हमने सिर्फ़ बहुत ही बेसिक कॉन्सेप्ट्स — नेचुरल नंबर्स (प्राकृतिक संख्याएँ) , इंटीजर्स ( पूर्ण संख्या) और उनकी विशेषताओं के बारे में बताया है | मैंने अपने तरफ से सिर्फ़ कॉन्सेप्ट्स को समझाने की कोशिश नहीं की है बल्कि उन्हें विज़ुअलाइज़ करवाने की भी कोशिश की है ताकि आपलोगों को गणित जीवंत और सार्थक लगे।
लेक्चर के आखिर में मैंने नेचुरल नंबर्स और इंटीजर्स के कॉन्सेप्ट्स पर आधारित कई दिलचस्प और चुनौतीपूर्ण सवालों पर भी चर्चा की है। मुझे पूरा यकीन है कि इनमें से कई सवाल आपको बिल्कुल नये लगेंगे और उन्हें हल करने में आपको सच में बहुत ही मज़ा आयेगा ।
