PART 3 OF 10 | What Makes Me Different
I challenged myself on what makes me different to other business coaches and mentors within the mental health and allied health space and came up with the following:
The fact that my own group private practice has won MULTIPLE INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC awards. For example: My private practice was the first-EVER private business to win a category in the Queensland Mental Health Awards. These awards were traditionally reserved for not-for-profits, university departments and or government departments. Imagine my surprise when our name was called at the awards dinner to announce The Psych Professionals as the winner in the Small to Medium Sized Workplace Category.
Not only have my own private practice won multiple industry-specific awards, but my coaching and mentoring clients have won many more. You won’t necessarily know they are my clients, as I don’t announce them as my clients (as others might do) but they are out there, and they are winning year after year after year. [Mental note to self: tally up the number of awards won by my business coaching and mentoring clients.]

In a growing marketplace with more and more people going into private practice, this is becoming increasingly important to do and to actively use the outcomes of this reflection in your marketing and branding.
I highly recommend this exercise, it was really eye-opening :)
