Pakistan to get more J-10C or J-10D, What's Reality? || Islamabad Files
In this V-log, Islamabad Files get into the detailed analysis of J-10C and upcoming J-10D fighter jets. It's because China is rapidly developing the Chengdu J‑10D, a new electronic warfare-focused variant of its frontline J‑10 fighter.
Islamabad Files also examines the critical airframe and avionics changes in new J-10D varient as it featuring a prominent dorsal spine, could be equipped with advanced AESA radar, infrared search and track (IRST) sensors, electronic warfare (EW) & jamming systems, and long-range missile integration. Islamabad Files get into the new design to boost network-centric combat, radar suppression, and anti-stealth capabilities in a 4.5th generation fighter jet, the J‑10D as its still in testing phase.
So here Islamabad Files tried its best to get answers to a big question, whether Pakistan is considering to get some J-10D jets in future or existing J‑10C fighters along with one or possible two more squadrons and exiting multi-layered EW (ground and air assets) are sufficient for Pakistan's defence; while immediate acquisition of J‑10D could be unnecessary.
