8mm Movie Scanner Project Part 1
Homebrew movie scanner aimed at high resolution individual-frame capture of 8mm movie frame images.
The project has a number of aims including: proof of milling/turning capability, use of Stepper Motors, programming of PIC processors, comparison of stop-frame animation software packages, and mechanical design.
This project has been in progress for 2 years due to other commitments, but is now gathering momentum.
This clip shows the PIC processor in operation, as a result of using Great Cow BASIC for the first time - very user friendly!
