How to Connect GameSir Nova Lite Controller to Windows PC
The GameSir Nova Lite supports three connection modes for Windows PC: wired via USB-C, wireless via the 2.4GHz dongle, and wireless via Bluetooth .
Method 1: Wired USB Connection
The wired connection is plug-and-play, requiring no additional software setup . Connect the controller to your PC using a USB-C cable. The 2nd and 4th indicator lights will remain solid white to confirm a successful connection .
Method 2: 2.4GHz Wireless Dongle Connection
Using the 2.4GHz dongle provides a stable, low-latency connection and is recommended for PC gaming . Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle into an available USB port on your PC. With the controller powered off, press and hold the Y + Home buttons for about 3 seconds . The 2nd and 4th indicators will flash rapidly to show the controller is ready to pair with the receiver . A solid light on both the controller and the dongle indicates a successful connection .
Method 3: Bluetooth Connection
If you prefer a wireless connection without a dongle, you can use Bluetooth . With the controller powered off, press and hold the X + Home buttons for about 3 seconds until the indicators cycle vertically . On your PC, open the Bluetooth settings, search for devices, and select "Pro Controller" from the list to pair .
Important Notes
Xinput Mode: For the best compatibility with Windows games, ensure the controller is in Xinput mode. The indicator light should be green . If it is not green, press and hold the View + Menu buttons for 2 seconds to switch modes .
Steam Setup: For Bluetooth connections, you may need to enable "Switch Pro Input" in Steam's controller settings for the controller to function properly .
Reconnection: If the controller's mode is not changed, it should automatically reconnect to your PC by briefly pressing the Home button to power it on .
