Nikon full frame DSLRs worth the money
Nikon made 18 DSLR cameras with full frame image sensors. They're still good for photography with excellent image quality.
F-mount lenses are compatible. FX lenses were designed for full frame cameras. DX lenses are for DSLRs with APS-C sized sensors, but they can be used in crop mode.
Lenses can be used on the newer Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras with a lens adapter.
All of cameras have live view, but the D3, D700, and Df can not record videos. Video recording ranges from 720p to 4k with the other cameras.
3 of the Nikon DSLRs have recalls. The D600 is the only model I would outright avoid. You can check the serial number of a D750 or D810 to see if they have been recalled.
People love buying gear, which has led to photographers switching to mirrorless cameras. It's still possible to find lightly used cameras and lenses at a huge discount.
When looking for a full frame DSLR, avoid heavy wear or high shutter counts (Over 100K). Other than the Nikon D3, it should be possible to find camera with shutter counts under 50k.
Models I would go for are the D610 as a entry level option, D800/D810 for portraits, landscapes, still life, etc, and the D850 as a high end option. If you are into sports, action, or wildlife, go with one of the flagships. (D3, D4, D5, D6)
