Revit PDF Export Tutorial - Native, PDF24 & Adobe with Custom Paper Sizes
In this tutorial, we cover all practical workflows for exporting PDFs from Revit, depending on the version you are using and the required output.
First, we demonstrate the native PDF export workflow available in newer Revit versions (Revit 2022 and later), including working with export settings, sheet selection, scale accuracy, vector and raster processing, and proper page sizing.
Then, we explain PDF export workflows for older Revit versions (Revit 2021 and earlier), as well as situations where the native PDF export tool is not suitable. This part focuses on exporting via the Print dialog, using virtual PDF printers such as PDF24 and Adobe PDF, and handling architectural, custom, and extended paper sizes.
By the end of this video, you will understand which PDF export method to use in different scenarios, how to avoid common export issues, and how to achieve consistent, high-quality documentation output from Revit.
