Who Are the Chud with White Eyes? Why Did They Go Underground?
Many will remember the heroes of today's episode from their school curriculum. In history class, you looked at a map of Ancient Rus', and in the wild and untamed North, you could see the names of the peoples living there. Among them, one stood out with a strange, sonorous name: the Chud. Others heard tales about this people from their grandparents, while others may be learning about them for the first time.
They've been talked about for a long time, good and bad, but true interest in the white-eyed Chud has only just begun to emerge. Some characterize them as elves or gnomes, while others have wild theories about a super-civilization, aliens, and giants.
However, there's no one to confirm all these theories, as they've long since disappeared from Rus'. Despite this, we'll try to figure out what this white-eyed Chud is.
