The amazing Fata Morgana optical illusion phenomenon as seen looking out into Quiberon Bay from Pointe de Kerpenhir, Brittany France, filmed on 6.7.19. The illusion begins around 1 minute 18 seconds into the film - distorting Belle Ile-en-Mer island and the Quiberon peninsula up to some 20 miles (30km) away, making it appear that there are large buildings or cliffs. I was originally documenting the enormous amount of maritime traffic visible when the illusion appeared, so have kept the whole video to provide context and sense of scale. Enjoy!
