AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Review - A High Refresh Rate Gamers Perspective
Ryzen 2600 review and 1080p benchmarks. I have decided to take a different approach with this review, as i know there will be plenty of in depth reviews of this cpu available. So for this review I really want to focus on the Ryzen 2600s high refresh rate gaming capabilities. I spoke to a lot of you regarding the ryzen 1600 last and for the most you were overclocking to 3.8ghz well the 1600 can do 4.2ghz so how much will that extra 400mhz a core help in hitting them higher frame rates.
Im testing with a 1060 today with a mix of low to ultra settings.
Games include Battlefield1,Star Wars Battlefront 2, Forza Motorsport 7, Far Cry 5, GTA V, Player Unknown's Battlegrounds,Overwatch, Assassins Creed Origins, Ghost Recom Wildlands, Call Of Duty WW2, Need For Speed Payback and Rise Of The tomb Raider.
I am using Nvidia Shadowplay to record with Msi Afterburner as system performance overlay. all score that numbered in seperate title are taken when not recoding.
