Melbourne's funkiest rapper @AgungMango has something to prove on his new EP. The record a feast fusing hip-hop, pop, soul, and funk, Mango channels his influences while boasting his singular smooth delivery and thoughtful bars alongside a selection of Australia's finest new artists. Mango previewed "Man On The Go" at Phoenix Central Park to an enthusiastic crowd, entranced by his hip-hop fusion and charismatic presence as he effortlessly commanded his seven-piece band of top Melbourne musos.
In this edition of Live at Phoenix, Sonder Films enhances Mango's persona, transforming The Nest into a smoky den with warm lighting placing Mango and his 7-piece band straight into a jazz bar from another era. 'MISERABLE MAN' typifies the EP, a more introspective bluesy cut from the release that builds to an epic conclusion, the man on the go searching for something more as he finds his place in music rising year after year.

Live at Phoenix is a live performance film series by Phoenix Central Park capturing stellar performances by exceptional artists. Running in parallel to Phoenix Central Park’s agenda-setting weekly free concerts, the series gives as much voice to the creatives behind the camera as it does the performers themselves. Each episode is a unique pairing of musician and filmmaker, resulting in an elevated performance inspired by the sculptural surrounds of The Nest. Live at Phoenix has featured Kelly Lee Owens, Liars, Superorganism, Genesis Owusu, EXEK, Jonti, IJALE, e4444e, Aphir, among many others.
