Immortal Revolutionary Hymn
Over 60 years have passed since "Song of General Kim Il Sung", an immortal revolutionary hymn was created.
But today, too, the song is sung by all Korean people to praise their leader and by all other people of the world to praise the great man.
Singing the song, the people of the DPRK greeted the spring of the liberation from the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists, plowing fields and operating factories for state building. The heroic soldiers of the Korean People's Army achieved a great victory in the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.
With the song, the people of the DPRK, firmly united around President Kim Il Sung, realized the socialist industrialization in a matter of only 14 years and demonstrated the might of the powerful socialist state of independence, self-sufficiency and self-reliant defense.
The "Song of General Kim Il Sung", an immortal revolutionary hymn, touches the heartstrings of not only the Korean people, but all other people of the world.
During the 8th FIFA World Cup in 1966 British spectators cheered the Korean team with flags of the DPRK, singing the "Song of General Kim Il Sung". Welcoming President Kim Il Sung on a visit to China, Beijing citizens sang the song.
The "Song of General Kim Il Sung" has been sung from generation to generation and from century to century. Humankind would continue to sing the song loudly, handing down the exploits of President Kim Il Sung forever.
