Here's my 60 second coverages of all the updates that came from Valve's April Steam Deck Update.
The steam deck has been in customer hands for a month. Here is the April update for the handheld console. Heeres a quick recap of all the features that were added to the steam deck. More steam deck information can be found at http://steamdeck.com/news
Text Coverage: Dual trackpad typing will allow you to type with both trackpads simultaneously. There are more advanced library filters as well as dynamic game collections based on game attributes and tags. Next, home screen navigation has been improved to help you get to your games faster. Steam store speeds have also been improved. You can also now drop the FPS down to 15 allowing you to conserve more battery (it’s great for visual novels, puzzles, etc). For all the deck tinkerers, the advanced view received some updates too. Also, SD formatting now has a progress bar. The keyboard has also received a TON of themes while the download screen has received a more detailed view. You can now also report bugs from the deck. Plus, an edit value has been added to sliders. Windows 10 now has device drivers thanks to AMD’s help. Back to the device itself, game specific joystick deadzones were added as well as global deadzone calibration. Also you can test all the steam deck inputs yourself. Lastly you can individually control haptic feedback per trackpad.
