In this video we used two text-to-MIDI generators to kickstart a Snow theme.

To get started, we prompted MUSE AI with the phrase "The sound of snow falling to the earth". Muse is an Ableton Max4Live patch that uses neural networks to interpret text and generate MIDI lines accordingly.

Once we arrived at a descending arpeggio pattern that we liked, we used the BBC orchestral collection from Spitfire to give them a plucked pizzicato cello sound. This became the basis of the snow theme.

Next, we pulled up AudioCipher and used the text-to-MIDI melody generator to turn the word "Snowflake" into a counter melody. By switching on the "random rhythm" option, we were able to rapidly generate and audition different patterns to find the groove that we liked the most.

With those complete, we bounced the audio and MIDI to a local folder. To store and label them with meta tags for future projects, we dragged them into the AudioCipher MIDI File Manager. Then we brought the files into Logic and finished building out the composition.

The Muse AI app is not currently available to the public.
