Droid X bootanimation on Nexus One
I saw the Droid X bootanimation on XDA Developers and I thought it looked pretty nice so I was curious if I downloaded it if it would work on my Nexus One.
Sure enough I put the bootanimation.zip on my SD card dropped into root terminal mounted the system folder so i could write to it with:
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
and then copied the file over with:
dd if=/sdcard/bootanimation.zip of=/system/media/bootanimation.zip
Reboot and enjoy.
