Dune Part 1 starring Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya and Jason Momoa, was a great success both critically and at the box office. And I believe Denis Villeneuve will have an even bigger impact with Dune Part 2. In this video essay I break down why I think Dune part 2 is needed in Hollywood, and how saved modern cinema. We have been in a little bit of a rut when it comes to modern blockbuster movies, but Dune takes it back to the days of blockbusters being intelligent, artistic and overall great films.
