Half Drow All Unique Dialogue [Baldur's Gate 3]
Another BG3 races unique dialogue that I compile. This one is shorter than other races because, well, Half Drow didn't get many unique dialogue. Because of that, I also include unique dialogue for Half Elf as a whole.
From the start, I was sure I wouldn't get much unique dialogue, because the Half Elf race isn't a very rare race like the Dragonborn, or has as much history as the Drow. However, what's less satisfying is that NPC treatment of Half-Drow is inconsistent. Sometimes, there are NPCs who treat us as drow, and we can't deny that we are actually Half-Drow (which is quite disappointing). Some treat us as a rare race, but most NPCs treat us as common one, so we don't get any unique dialogue.
The most unsatisfying aspect concerns the background of Half-Drow characters. The developers seem to have no idea whether they want to position Half-Drow as inhabitants of the Underdark, or as a race that resides in Baldur's Gate. Sometimes there's an options that indicate that we live in the Underdark, but others indicate that you don't. This is quite annoying. I believe this is because in BG3, you can't choose your character's background, which is quite unfortunate.
On a side note, knowing how big BG3 is, I will not deny that maybe there's some dialogue that I miss when I compile Half-Drow dialogue. So, if you know any dialogue that I miss, I will really happy if you can inform me about that. And as always, thanks for watching!
