In this video, we will show you how to restore the old context menu in Windows 11 in a simple and easy way. If you don’t like the new right-click menu, you can switch back to the classic menu using a simple command. Just open Command Prompt as administrator, paste the command given in the description, and restart your PC. After restarting, the old context menu will be back.
If you ever want to go back to the default menu, you can use another command and follow the same steps. This method is quick and works without installing anything.
Restore old menu:
reg add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve
Revert to new menu:
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}" /f
