Animated film "The Christmas Star"
A film adaptation of Boris Pasternak's poem "The Christmas Star." Narrated by Alisa Grebenshchikova.
One day, a miracle happened. A star appeared in the sky, heralding the birth of the most important child in the Christian world. Many years have passed since then, but the star still shines upon us, reminding us through the centuries that a miracle lives among us. And when Christmas Day arrives, we, like the Magi, give gifts to our loved ones, remembering that special day when the Christmas Star appeared.
The musical recording used in the film is unique: it is the Adagio from Mozart's Concerto No. 23, performed by the world-renowned pianist and friend of Boris Pasternak, Maria Yudina, recorded in 1943.
The film was commissioned by the "Christmas Star" Charity Festival, with the support of "Scene 23."
