Note: This is not a part 1 -- it's the early parts of a failed run, but I thought I explained the early game pretty well, so I thought it would be worth an upload.
I put "optimized" in quotes because it's not actually at all optimized... but then again, you have many content creators pretending their horde runs are well-executed, and compared to those runs, mine is certainly miles above in terms of execution and level of care.
Plot twist for the people who wonder what happened at the end: I did stand there looking like an idiot -- Ming refused to put its ruler general on a stack, so I wasted a lot of time going for Tumu Crisis, so I gave up.
Anyway, this is probably my most in-depth and talkative playthrough so far, so hopefully it has useful info for anyone interested in advanced EU4 tactics. This style of play is what I mean when I say optimized EU4 is like playing chess.
