Palm Sunday Message, SLC Troy
Rev. Dr. Martha Creek. The message of Jesus of Palm Sunday is that when he entered Jerusalem that day, he didn't come to establish an earthly kingdom but first the spiritual kingdom. This is our divine appointment, to care for, uplift, and express ourselves as creators for the "spiritual kingdom".
Scripture:
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away,
our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us
an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
as we look not to the things that are seen
but to the things that are unseen.
For the things that are seen are transient,
but the things that are unseen are eternal.
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
