Hiddensee - a small island in northern Germany
I visited a small island in northern Germany called Hiddensee.
This island was the setting for the former East German pop song "Du hast den Farbfilm vergessen (You've forgotten color film)," which was performed by the German Ministry of Defense brass band at Ms.Merkel's request when she stepped down from office.
As the song says, "Everything here is blue, white and green."
The peak season is summer, but white blossoms and fresh green leaves in late April was also beautiful.
