ARTIFACTS Change ENTIRE Damage Meta! Weapon DPS Ranking Tier List For New World Expansion
With the New World Expansion, Rise of the Angry Earth, we get a ton of weapon changes and the removal of Bane. Due to this, the entire weapon meta will shift drastically. Along with that, Artifacts were added to the game, many of which have a huge impact on PvE DPS. Some prominent examples in this New World DPS Tier List are the Rapier "Finisher", the Greatsword "Serenity" and the Sword "The Butcher". Some Artifacts also allow DPS weapons that were previously low tier to rise to the higher ranks, such as the Blunderbuss "Pestilence". The void Great Axe "The Abyss" is better at dealing damage than its physical counterpart. Due to its Strike damage component, the "Lifetaker" Void Gauntlet also ends up with surprisingly high damage numbers in unexpected situations - while also being a beneficial offhand for extra DPS for plenty of weapons on this list. Unfortunately even the Spark of Mjolnir War Hammer seems to be able to significantly help out the DPS state of the Hammer.
