Capture card is called USB 2.0 Video grabber with Audio and is from Monoprice.com, very cheap got it for $20 with shipping, great quality.
If I were to get the easycap dc60+ it would be over $30 so this is worth it.
To get the quality I followed different guides on youtube and went with using Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate to capture and record in NTSC progressive widescreen, 720 by 480p at 30fps with other tweaked settings. I then used Sony Vegas Pro 9 to render the video in widescreen at 1280 by 720p with other tweaked settings. Rendering is quick.
This is my first best test so far, I am sure to still look for in improving my settings. In the future I hope to get an s-video to improve quality.
